What we do
Helping Hands provides Pediatric Occupational Therapy services to children between the ages of newborn to 21 years of age. We will service families through home visits, school visits (preschool and private), ABA center visits, and clinic visits.

Areas of Treatment

We provide a holistic approach to each child. Using a wide variety of specialty treatment approach such as sensory integration, sensory motor, kinesthetic learning, whole body integration, and fine/gross motor coordination.

It is our goal to provide the highest quality of care to each family. It is our top priority to get to know each family and child to learn how to enrich their daily lives.
Our model is unique for several reasons. When we start working with a family, we take the time to evaluate a child in different settings and observe in everyday activities such as home, school, clinic and/or playdates. This allows us to get the best picture of how we can lead and grow each family within their daily needs. We complete a comprehensive evaluation to access each child’s strengths and weaknesses. After accessing a child we work with families to complete a parent conference to discuss all goals and a child’s specific plan of care. We then work closely with other professionals to provide well rounded care. It is extremely important to work with each child through a team approach; this team looks different for each child. For example, a team would be parents, caregivers, ABA therapists, speech therapist, neurologists, pediatrician, play therapist and/or counselors.

We work hard to build relationships with all of the child's providers and collaborate on best quality of care for goals and progress.
